Shell Integrated Gas chief Zoe Yujnovich to leave at end of March

ALN

Shell PLC on Tuesday announced the departure of Integrated Gas & Upstream Director Zoe Yujnovich.

The London-based oil major said Yujnovich will leave Shell after March 31.

Shell also announced changes to its executive committee and leadership structure, saying it will separate Integrated Gas & Upstream into Integrated Gas and Upstream in order to de-layer reporting.

Shell appointed Cederic Cremers as president of Integrated Gas and Peter Costello as president of Upstream, with both joining the executive committee on April 1.

Cremers joined Shell’s’ Retail business in 2002 and was appointed executive vice president of Liquefied Natural Gas in 2021, which in 2024 was expanded to include Shell’s gas-to-liquids assets.

Costello joined Shell in 2016 as vice president of Nigeria & Gabon, and was appointed executive vice president of Conventional Oil & Gas in 2021.

Chief Executive Officer Wael Sawan said: ‘Going forward, we will delayer our most senior leadership structure to reflect the three primary areas of business value Integrated Gas; Upstream; and Downstream, Renewables & Energy Solutions, whilst also elevating Trading & Supply, which is a key enabler across the organisation. In the first half of 2026, we will also integrate the technical divisions, that today make up our Projects & Technology directorate, into our business lines. This further simplification will empower our businesses by bringing these technical capabilities closer to where we generate value.’

Shell shares were 2.9% lower at 2,579.00 pence each on Tuesday morning in London.
