Supersearch Plus starts trading on AQSE Growth Market in London

ALN

Supersearch Plus PLC started trading on Aquis Stock Exchange in London on Tuesday after an initial public offering.

The Hong Kong-based frozen seafood importer and wholesaler raised £278,558 gross from the issue of 2.8 million new shares at 10 pence each. Alfred Henry Corporate Finance Ltd is the AQSE corporate adviser to Supersearch.

Shares in the company had a bid-ask spread of 10.00p to 20.00p on AQSE on Tuesday morning, but no trades were reported. The company has 22.8 million shares in issue, so it had a £2.3 million market capitalisation at the IPO price.

Chief Executive Foelan Wong said: ‘We are thrilled to have reached this important milestone, which reflects the dedication and hard work of our talented team. We believe that the subscription and admission will provide a solid platform for the company’s continued growth. We give special thanks to investors, partners, and staff for their support, and we look forward to the exciting journey ahead as a publicly traded company.’

Supersearch offers a wide range of frozen seafood products with over 50 product varieties, such as fish, lobster, tiger prawn and sea urchin. It aims to expand its export and import activities beyond southeast Asia, with an initial focus on the Chinese diaspora in the UK.
