AB Dynamics sees higher first-half revenue as order book grows

ALN

AB Dynamics PLC on Tuesday said it expects to report higher revenue for the first-half of the 2025 financial year.

The Wiltshire, England-based designer, manufacturer and supplier of advanced testing, simulation and measurement products said revenue grew by 11% to around £58 million in the six-month period to the end of February, from £52.3 million in the prior year.

The company said trading in the first half of the year has shown ‘positive momentum’ and is in line with the board’s expectations.

AB Dynamics said it has benefitted from ‘encouraging’ order growth, particularly in Asia Pacific and North America.

Its order book has continued to grow and provides ‘good visibility’ for the second half of the financial year, the firm said.

‘Whilst mindful of the dynamic economic and geopolitical backdrop, timing of pipeline conversion and customer delivery schedules, the board remains confident that the group will make further financial and strategic progress this year,’ AB Dynamics said.

The firm said it is ‘extremely well positioned’ to capitalise on long-term growth drivers in active safety, autonomous systems and the automation of vehicle applications.

AB Dynamics said it was confident of achieving its full-year expectations of 10% organic revenue growth and expanding its adjusted operating profit margin towards 20%.

‘With a solid first half performance, coupled with the visibility afforded by the current order book and pipeline, the board remains confident in achieving its expectations for the full year,’ AB Dynamics said.

Shares in AB Dynamics were up 1.9% to 1,895.00 in London at midday on Tuesday.
