Naked Wines PLC - Norwich, England-based online wine seller - Non-Executive Chair Rowan Gormley leaves the board immediately. Company says this decision follows the launch of its new strategic plan last week. Senior Independent Director Deidre Runnette will become interim chair until a successor is appointed. Gormley was the founder and chief executive of Naked Wines when it was purchased by high-street retailer Majestic Wine in 2015. Gormley was immediately made CEO of the enlarged group. In early 2020, the company sold the Majestic part of the business, and Gormley stepped down as CEO. He came back in 2022 as an advisor. He became non-executive and then executive chair in 2023 before stepping back to non-executive chair early last year when Naked Wines promoted Rodrigo Maza to CEO.
