Mirriad extends ‘key’ partnership with Germany’s Ad Alliance

ALN

Mirriad Advertising PLC on Wednesday extended its partnership with RTL Ad Alliance for three years as they continue to set ‘new standards for the future of in-content advertising in Germany.’

The London-based AI-powered virtual product placement leading provider will continue to provide in-video advertising services to Germany’s leading advertising sales house, Ad Alliance, to enable non-intrusive integration of brands into premium entertainment content.

Mirriad’s Chief Executive Officer Stephan Beringer said: ‘Ad Alliance has been a key partner in driving VPP adoption in Germany, and our partnership is now set to evolve on the steady growth we’ve achieved over the past years.’

Ad Alliance’s General Director Ad+Concept Studio Meiko Reißmann added: ‘By extending our long-year and highly successful collaboration with Mirriad, we continue to set new benchmarks for integrated brand experiences, enabling advertisers to engage with audiences in premium, contextually relevant environments at scale.’

Around 12% of Mirriad’s revenue last year came from work under its existing agreement with Ad Alliance.

The agreement renewal also continues Mirriad’s integration across the RTL group, reaching prime-time-formats such as ‘The Bachelor.’

Mirriad said its virtual product placement solutions drive return on investment for advertisers, superior brand awareness and purchase intent, while still enhancing the viewer experience.

Mirriad shares closed down 9.7% at 0.28 pence each in London on Wednesday.
