Corero Network Security expands partnership with TechEnabler

ALN

Corero Network Security PLC on Thursday announced a £600,000 expansion of its partnership with TechEnabler, a technology service provider in Brazil.

The London, England-based group which is a provider of distributed denial of service protection solutions, has agreed with TechEnabler to expand the existing DDoS Protection-as-a-Service contract and extend their partnership for another year.

The existing Corero SmartWall ONE solution will be upgraded by the contract expansion which will now include the new 400G platform across the TechEnabler network. This will deliver enhanced managed security solutions to the company’s customer base in Latin America.

Chief Executive Officer at Corero, Carl Herberger said: ‘This contract expansion underscores the demand for next-generation solutions amid an increasingly complex DDoS threat landscape and further demonstrates Corero’s ability to innovate at the forefront of these technology changes.

‘With the roll-out of our 400G platform in Latin America, Corero continues to open up new commercial opportunities by increasing our competitiveness in the DDoS defence market.’

The group have also signed a new contract with DigitalnetBR as well as the previously Forte Telecom contract.

Corero’s shares closed down 4.0% at 15.70 pence in London on Thursday.
