Howden Joinery taps Coats Group’s Jackie Callaway as new CFO

ALN

Howden Joinery Group PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed Coats Group PLC’s Jackie Callaway as its new chief financial officer.

The London-based kitchen and joinery supplier said current CFO Paul Hayes will retire from his role at the end of May.

Callaway was appointed CFO of London-based manufacturer of industrial thread and footwear components Coats Group in April 2021 and was previously CFO of Devro PLC. She is a non-executive director of IMI PLC.

Callaway’s departure from Coats Group was announced in January. She will be replaced by Hill & Smith CFO Hannah Nichols.

‘Jackie has a strong track record in leading finance teams of large UK listed companies with global operations. Her expertise will be invaluable to the board and our executive leadership team as we continue to capitalise on the significant growth opportunities we have, both in our UK markets and through the development of our international operations,’ said Chief Executive Officer Andrew Livingston.

Shares in Howden Joinery were up 0.8% to 687.50 pence in London on Tuesday morning.
