Hercules Site Services secures place on Wessex Water framework deal

ALN

Hercules Site Services PLC on Monday announced it has secured a place on the Wessex Water Civils Support Framework, supporting Wessex Water Services Ltd on additional civils resources.

Hercules Site Services is a Cirencester, England-based labour supplier for the UK infrastructure and construction sectors. Wessex Water is a water and sewerage company serving the southwest of England, supplying drinking water to around 1.4 million customers and sewage services to about 2.9 million people.

Under the framework deal, Hercules’ Labour Supply and Civil Projects divisions will support Wessex Water with internal programme delivery and capital maintenance activities.

The framework agreement is for a term of five years, and may be extended for a further three years. It covers site works, main laying, potable water infrastructure, wastewater infrastructure and reservoirs.

Wessex Water will target £2.65 billion in investments between 2025 and 2030, more than double its previous spend of £1.5 billion.

‘It’s great to see our Labour Supply and Civil Projects division going from strength to strength. With the water industry facing and addressing enormous challenges, our Civil Projects team has leveraged its experience to work with important partners throughout the industry,’ said Chief Executive Officer Brusk Korkmaz.

‘We are delighted to join Wessex Water’s Civils Support Framework. Wessex Water is a top performing water and sewage company as measured by Ofwat and we look forward to working closely with them.’

Shares in Hercules Site Services were up 0.2% at 49.58 pence each in London on Monday afternoon. The stock is up 50% over the past year.
