Playtech PLC - Isle of Man-based gambling software developer - Appoints John Gleasure as a non-executive director and chair-designate, succeeding Brian Mattingley as chair following the company’s annual general meeting in May. Playtech says Gleasure brings 30 years of experience across sports, media and technology, and currently sits on the boards of DAZN Group Ltd and Sporting News Holdings. DAZN is a London-based sports streaming and entertainment platform. Gleasure co-founded Perform, a digital sports media firm, and has held senior roles at Sky Sports and Sony Pictures. Mattingley said Gleasure’s experience will support Playtech’s transformation into a predominantly B2B business. Gleasure said he was ‘delighted’ to join at a pivotal moment.
