Focus Xplore appoints exploration consultants for upcoming programs

ALN

Focus Xplore PLC reported on Tuesday that Fladgate Exploration Consulting Corp has been appointed to complete the initial phase of exploration activities at its upcoming projects.

Focus Xplore is a strategic energy and critical minerals exploration company with exploration programs in Ontario, Canada.

Fladgate has been appointed to complete mapping and sampling activities at Focus’ Iva, Ellie and Oba lithium projects as well as its Bay Road rare earth element project.

Fladgate is an Ontario, Canada-based mineral exploration consulting firm, offering expertise in geology, logistics, camp building and geographic information system.

The company said that exploration is scheduled to begin by mid-May latest.

Focus changed its name from Katoro Gold PLC on April 7, trading under its new company name since April 8.

Its shares were flat at 0.04 pence on Tuesday afternoon in London.

Chief Executive Officer Patrick Cullen said: ‘Focus Xplore are looking forward to a busy first phase of exploration this Spring and throughout the year and we are pleased to have appointed the team at Fladgate.

‘They are based in Thunder Bay, just 170 kilometres east of the Iva Lithium Project, which is likely to be among the first projects we gain access to as the snow melts. We look forward to getting started as soon as possible.’
