Ireland’s harmonised consumer price index inflation came in as expected in April, data published by the Central Statistics Office showed Thursday. The country’s annual harmonised consumer price inflation rate was 2.0% in April, picking up from 1.8% in March. This confirmed flash figures released by the CSO at the end of April. Harmonised monthly consumer price growth was confirmed at 0.4% in April, decelerating from 0.7% in March from February.
