StreaksAI shares jump amid rebrand to TAO Alpha to show ‘innovation’

ALN

StreaksAI PLC shares surged on Tuesday as it said it has rebranded as TAO Alpha PLC to show its ‘commitment to innovation’.

The London-based provider of artificial intelligence-based conversational technologies said the name change reflects its ‘evolving business focus’ and aligns with its ‘strategic vision of developing fully automated revenue generating AI agents’.

Shares in StreaksAI closed up 53% at 0.61 pence in London on Tuesday afternoon.

The company said its ticker symbol will change to TAO and will take effect on Wednesday.

It said it ‘continues to advance its strategic objectives’ in the decentralised AI agent economy.

The firm said its objectives are focused on close alignment with Bittensor’s ecosystem, which is a decentralised open-source network.

It incentivises the creation of ‘useful products within a global marketplace for machine-learning models,’ while participants earn TAO tokens.

Chief Executive Officer Matthew Lodge said: ‘The transition to TAO Alpha marks an exciting chapter in our journey. Our new name better reflects our commitment to innovation, and our refined strategy positions us to seize emerging opportunities within Bittensor’s AI economy. We look forward to delivering on our ambitious goals and creating value for our stakeholders.’
