Octopus Apollo VCT PLC - venture capital trust focused predominantly on unquoted companies - net assets in year to January 31 rise to £482.6 million from £390.3 million a year ago. NAV per share is flat at 50.5 pence. Declares second interim dividend of 1.3 pence bringing total 2025 dividend to 2.6p, both flat on-year. Company sees three profitable realisations in 2025, compared to one in the prior year. Says the last year has seen a recovery in its investment rate with twice as many new investments being completed when comparing 2025/2024 to 2024/2023. Adds the investment team is experiencing an increase in deal flow, especially in the last six months of 2024. Current pipeline ‘looks very promising’. ‘I am pleased with the positive performance over the last six months, especially whilst the geo-political and economic landscape has been extremely challenging for portfolio companies to navigate,’ says Chair Murray Steele.
