Schiehallion Fund Ltd on Friday said it has now begun the process to become a UK tax resident and join the UK’s investment trust regime. The Guernsey-based investment fund said it expects this move to take effect in the first quarter of 2026. The firm is also considering a potential transfer of its shares to trading on the London Stock Exchange’s Main Market, from its current listing on the Specialist Fund Segment of the LSE. Subject to the receipt of shareholder approval, this move is expected to take place at ‘broadly the same time’ as any changes to the firm’s tax residency. Schiehallion Fund expects to make further announcements ‘in due course’. Shares in Schiehallion were up 0.6% at $1.06 each in London on Friday morning. The stock is up 14% over the past year.
