Dr Martens PLC - London-based boot maker - Hires Carla Murphy to be chief brand officer, responsible for brand strategy and creative direction. Murphy will oversee the company’s product, strategy, marketing, and sustainability divisions and will report to Chief Executive Officer Ije Nwokorie, who was the previous chief brand officer. Murphy joins from sportswear maker and retailer adidas AG, where she was senior vice president & general manager for adidas Outdoor, based at the adidas headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
