Gemfields Group Ltd - London-based miner and marketer of coloured gemstones - Raises $30 milion, about R 538.3 million, after equity rights issue. Receives acceptances for 458.3 million new shares, representing about 82.4% of shares that will be issued following the rights issue. The remaining 97.9 million shares will be subscribed for by underwriters. Gemfields had said on Wednesday it planned to issue 556.2 million shares to raise about $30 million. New shares were admitted to trade on AIM on Friday.
