Smarter Web Co PLC - Surrey, England-based provider of web design that is building bitcoin treasury - Raises £29.3 million from the sale of 16.3 million new shares at £1.80. Smarter Web had announced the equity raise after the London market close on Friday. It had aimed to raise at least £15 million but said it received a ‘high level of demand’. Of the total, £1.5 million was raised from a direct subscription of share from the company, while £27.8 million came from an accelerated bookbuild with institutional investors run by Tennyson Securities and Peterhouse Capital Ltd.
