ALN

Clean Power Hydrogen PLC - Doncaster, Yorkshire-based green hydrogen technology and manufacturing company - Signs non-binding memorandum of understanding with Constant Energy Ltd, an energy developer in Ireland. The produced hydrogen is intended to be utilised in a gas peaking plant, for export to the surrounding gas grid as well as for a hydrogen filling station servicing fuel cell electric vehicles,’ it adds. Under the terms of the MoU, the companies will negotiate the terms of a binding sale & purchase agreement under which Constant Energy intends to buy an initial five 1 megawatt MFE220 units from Clean Power Hydrogen, to be operational in 2027 and 2028.

Clean Power Hydrogen Chief Executive Officer Jon Duffy says: ‘The signing of an MoU between CPH2 and Constant Energy is a significant step forward in the commerciality phase of our membrane free technology, following our successful site acceptance test and demonstration of our electrolyser functioning to a high level in a commercial setting.’
