Majedie Investments PLC - investment trust aiming for long-term capital growth while preserving capital and paying a regular dividend - Investment manager Marylebone Partners LLP on Friday announces it is in advanced talks to merge with Brown Advisory Ltd. The two London-based firms say they will aim ‘to build a leading endowment-style offering for clients based outside of the US’. Majedie says the Marylebone team will continue to manage its portfolio after moving to Brown Advisory, and it considers the merger of the two investment managers to be a ‘positive development’.
