The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News: ---------- Avacta Group PLC - Wetherby, West Yorkshire-based life sciences company - Appoints David Liebowitz as chief medical officer and Yulii Bogatyrenko as an advisor in business development. Liebowitz will lead the company’s clinical strategy and execution as it continues to advance its pipeline of targeted cancer therapies and Bogatyrenko will add additional strength to the group’s business development strategy, Avacta says. Liebowitz joins Avacta from Inovio Pharmaceuticals, where he served as senior vice president of early-stage clinical development. ‘David’s deep expertise in oncology, coupled with a successful track record of advancing innovative therapies into the clinic, will be instrumental as we continue to execute on our clinical development strategy,’ says Avacta Chief Executive Christina Coughlin. ---------- Carr’s Group PLC - Carlisle, England-based provider of agriculture products, including livestock supplements - Confirms that, further to its announcement in May, Josh Hoopes has been appointed as chief executive with immediate effect. Hoopes joined Carr’s in March 2024 as CEO, Global Agriculture, where he led the transformation of the agriculture business. Prior to joining Carr’s Group, Hoopes worked for Associated British Foods PLC for more than 10 years. In May, Carr’s said David White was stepping down as CEO on June 20. ‘I am delighted to welcome Josh to the board and into his new position as CEO. The board has full confidence in his ability to lead the execution of our refined strategy, deliver sustainable profitable growth, and create long-term value for shareholders,’ says Chair Tim Jones. ---------- Mission Group PLC - Devon, England based owner of a group of digital marketing and communications agencies - Following an external process, Mission Group names John Carey as chief executive officer with effect from September 1. Carey has recently held executive positions at Castrol, BP PLC and Abu Dhabi National Oil Corp for Distribution, where he led the company’s initial public offer in 2017. ‘A highly experienced international leader, he brings a diverse breadth of commercial and business transformation expertise with a strong operations and marketing background,’ says Chair David Morgan of the appointment. ---------- Huddled Group PLC - Nottingham, England-based investor in e-commerce brands - Says Michael Ashley will become chief executive officer.
