ActiveOp gets North America boost as financial 2025 profit rises 35%

ALN

ActiveOps PLC on Thursday said its product, marketing and sales functions are ‘primed for an accelerated phase of growth’, as it posted advances in full-year revenue and profit.

The Reading, England-based management process automation software provider said pretax profit grew 35% in the financial year that ended March 31 to £1.3 million from £987,000 a year earlier.

Driving this advance was a 14% increase in its top line to £30.5 million from £26.8 million, as software-as-a-service revenue progressed 13% to £26.8 million from £23.8 million.

ActiveOps said the SaaS revenue gain was owed to both new and existing customers.

It also noted ‘exceptionally high’ revenue growth in North America, up 22% to £7.7 million from £6.4 million, driven by customer expansion and new customer acquisitions.

Annual recurring revenue also made gains, up 13% to £28.4 million from £25.1 million.

Shares in ActiveOps edged 1.7% higher to 149.00 pence on Thursday afternoon in London.

On current trading, Executive Chair Richard Jeffery said he is pleased with the company’s ‘strong start’ to the new financial year, with it having ‘begun encouragingly.’

Jeffery added that the company is focused on building on its existing momentum, with its product, marketing and sales functions ‘all primed for an accelerated phase of growth.’

‘Financial 2025 was a significant year for ActiveOps, delivering our strongest performance since listing as a public company in 2021, achieving double-digit revenue and ARR growth, alongside increased cash generation. With nine new logos won in the year, up from three in financial 2024, and good expansion with our existing customers, the momentum we are seeing across the business is clear,’ continued Jeffery.
