ICG Enterprise nets $30 million from Datasite exit at 3% premium

ALN

ICG Enterprise Trust PLC on Tuesday said it has fully realised its co-investment in Datasite Global Corp, one of its largest portfolio companies, generating $30 million in proceeds at a premium to its latest valuation.

The London-based private equity investment trust said the sale of Datasite, a provider of virtual data room software, represents a 3% premium to the company’s valuation of the asset as of the first quarter of financial 2026.

As of January 31, Datasite was ICG Enterprise’s fourth-largest portfolio company, accounting for 1.9% of its total portfolio, with the co-investment component representing 1.6%.

ICG Enterprise made an initial $18 million co-investment in Datasite in 2024, alongside ICG Strategic Equity V and CapVest. The trust retains a small indirect stake through its commitment to Strategic Equity V, which represented 0.3% of the portfolio value at the end of January.

ICG Enterprise described the transaction as having delivered ‘an attractive return,’ particularly given the short holding period.

Shares in ICG Enterprise were marginally down at 1,471.30 pence in London on Tuesday morning.
