Zenova inks UK distribution agreement with Firefighting Supplies

ALN

Zenova Group PLC on Friday said it has inked an order for 2,200 Zenova FX6L fire extinguishers, with it noting increasing demand to stock its FX range.

The contract, which is expected to bring in revenue over £125,000 over the next 12 months, has been inked with Firefighting Supplies Ltd, a newly formed company created to distribute Zenova products in the UK.

The inaugural order, said Zenova, is for 200 units of its FX 6L all-class fire extinguisher, with a further 2,000 confirmed for delivery over the coming months.

The London-based fire suppression and interdiction solutions company expects Firefighting Supplies to become a ‘key route-to-market’ for its extinguisher range, notably in the infrastructure environments and public sector.

Zenova added that it is aware of growing demand from established extinguisher distributors, with them seeking to stock the Zenova FX range.

Shares in Zenova were 2.0% lower at 0.24 pence on Friday afternoon in London.

Chief Executive Thomas Melchior said: ‘This new relationship with Firefighting Supplies is an exciting development for Zenova. The company has been specifically formed to bring our innovative extinguisher products to market, guided by the deep sector expertise of Gary Poole and the established capabilities of Calendar Fire.

‘We see this partnership as the foundation for a scalable and strategic route into key public sector markets.’
