Smarter Web Co PLC - Bristol, England-based web design, web development and online marketing services provider - Raises £7.6 million before expenses from the placing of 3.5 million new shares at £2.21 under its existing subscription agreement. Will receive around 97% of the proceeds early this week. The remaining 4.5 million shares in the current tranche are yet to be placed. Expects to sign a new subscription agreement on the same terms once the current tranche is complete.
