Ryanair Holdings PLC - Dublin-based budget airline - Says none of its flights to or from Spain over the past three days have been affected ‘in any way’ by the ‘poorly supported’ handler strikes at some Spanish airports. The UGT Union has less than 20% of Ryanair’s Azul Handling front of house staff in membership, and all of Ryanair’s Spanish flights departed ‘normally’ on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, it says. Azul Handling provides full baggage handling services to Ryanair. Strikes are expected to continue every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until December 31, the Independent newspaper reported on Friday, with the upcoming August bank holiday weekend among the dates affected.
