Aurrigo International PLC - Coventry, England-based transport technology provider - Announces collaboration with the Kanata North Business Association and Area XO, a Canadian research & development complex, to deploy an all-season medium-speed autonomous shuttle vehicle trial in Canada’s Kanata North Technology Park. Contract has a total value of C$1 million, and will see the Auto-Shuttle being delivered in the second half. It will then start operating on public roads, ‘in mixed traffic at medium speeds’, after ‘a period of rigorous testing’. ‘This real-world Canadian testing environment provides valuable insights that will support the advancement of Aurrigo’s autonomous airport shuttle solutions, which require reliable performance across diverse weather and operational conditions,’ Aurrigo says.
