Biotech Growth Trust PLC - biotechnology-focused investor - Says capital reduction to become effective upon the registration of a court order from the High Court at Companies House. The firm says the purpose of the capital reduction is to provide a ‘significant pool of reserves’ which can be used in future to fund share buybacks or other returns of capital. ‘The cancellation will therefore provide the company with more flexibility in how capital may be returned in the future,’ the company says.
