Oracle Power PLC on Thursday said it will proceed with its exploration plan at the Blue Rock Valley Copper and Silver Project following positive sampling results. The programme highlighted a number of strong anomalies across the project, located in the Ashburton Basin, in the northwest region of Western Australia, over a strike of around 2 kilometres, which remains open. Oracle Power, which develops and invests in power and natural resource projects, with a focus on Pakistan and Western Australia, said geochemical sampling is to be expanded to the northwest of outcropping copper mineralisation and the anomalies identified by the successful maiden geochemical sampling programme. Chief Executive Naheed Memon said: ‘It is great to formulate a solid exploration plan to follow up on the maiden geochemical sampling programme at Blue Rocks, where anomalies related well to known mineralisation, with new zones identified to the northwest.’ ‘The northwest will be focused on with planned infill and extension geochemical sampling programme. To cover the trend, a quote for Mobile MT, an airborne geophysical technique, has been requested and this may be successful at delineating fluid pathways associated with high-grade copper mineralisation. I look forward to updating shareholders in due course as we continue work advancing this project,’ Memon added. Shares in Oracle Power closed down 0.8% at 0.013 pence each in London on Thursday.
