CleanTech Lithium PLC - lithium exploration in Chile - Raises £4.7 million from the sale of 94.0 million new shares at 5 pence each via a placing by broker Fox-Davies Capital Ltd. Each share carries a warrant granting the right to buy a further share at 6p at any time between one year and three years from now. CleanTech also launches a retail offer at the same price to raise up to a further £250,000, making the total equity raise worth £5.0 million. ‘This result strengthens our capital base as we advance the Laguna Verde project, following the acquisition of the Minergy licences, which has positioned us more favourably for the CEOL application,’ says Chair Steve Kesler, referring to Chilean government operating approval. The equity issue is subject to a general meeting called for Friday.
