IN BRIEF: Technologies New Energy buys Diverfuel software developer

ALN

Technologies New Energy PLC - London-based energy company supporting decarbonisation projects - Acquires Diverfuel SA through a share transfer agreement. Diverfuel is a Portugal-based developer of software-as-a-service to manage production of ‘clean fuels and green chemicals’. TNE says the Diverfuel platform will help secure feedstock and offtake deals for TNE’s biorefinery pipeline by providing data which ‘is increasingly critical under tightening global regulations’ for biofuel companies. TNE pays no cash consideration for Diverfuel, but is responsible for the software’s rollout.

Current share price: 29.35p
