Tekcapital PLC on Friday said investee Guident Corp has achieved a certification considered ‘the world’s premier standard’ for information security management. Tekcapital is a London-based intellectual property investor, and Guident is a Florida-based autonomous vehicle safety technology business. Tekcapital owns around 70% of Guident. The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification confirms that Guident has established and maintained a comprehensive information security management system. ‘This accomplishment reflects Guident’s top-down commitment to embedding security into our strategy and governance. Integrating this standard into our business model ensures that every technology decision and operational process is aligned with international best practices,’ said Gabriel Castaneda, vice president of artificial intelligence and research at Guident.
