Cloudbreak Discovery hails start of work on expanded Darlot West asset

ALN

Cloudbreak Discovery PLC on Monday said exploration over the expanded Darlot West gold project in Western Australia is underway.

The London-based natural resource project generator and royalty business said the project is located just 10 kilometres southwest of the Darlot Gold Mine, with 2.8 million ounces of gold produced to date.

Managing Director Tom Evans said: ‘It is great to get on the ground again so soon after announcing the expansion of the Darlot West Gold Project to 60.6 square kilometres, with samples up to 28.62 grammes of gold per tonne to be followed up.

‘The 3-man field crew will undertake expanded rock chipping, complete field mapping, and undertake geochemical soil sampling, with the aim of further refining the project towards drill targeting. I look forward to updates from the field crew on progress, and updating shareholders as results come to hand.’

Cloudbreak shares were down 14% at 0.58 pence each on Monday afternoon in London.
