Oriole Resources PLC - West and Central Africa-focused gold exploration company - Completes phase one drilling at its 90% owned Mbe orogenic gold project in Cameroon. Reports a total of 6,828.40 metres of drilling across 24 drill holes at the MB01-S target. Results at one hole, MBDD008, include an intercept of 86.50 metres grading at 1.36 grammes per tonne of gold from 22.00 metres depth, including a zone of 39.40 metres at 2.00 grammes per tonne of gold. It also reports 6.0 metres at 2.24 grammes per tonne of gold and 3.0 metres at 2.32 grammes per tonne of gold at this hole. Adds that results for the remaining four holes in the programme are expected later this month. ‘Completion of the phase 1 maiden drilling programme is an important milestone, and one which has been achieved by our dedicated field team working hard through the Cameroon wet season. Now we are eagerly looking forward to the independent consultant’s maiden JORC mineral resource estimate in Q4-2025 and will announce the results for the remaining holes ahead of that,’ says Chief Executive Martin Rosser.
