Partners Group Private Equity Ltd on Thursday said it will be added to the FTSE 250 index later this month, a move its chair described as an important milestone for the investment firm. The portfolio of investments in private companies said it will become a constituent of the mid-cap benchmark at the close of trading on September 19, following the latest quarterly review by FTSE Russell. Chair Peter McKellar said the inclusion is expected to boost liquidity and marketability of the shares, while complementing board initiatives to enhance shareholder value through strong net asset value performance and narrowing the discount to NAV. In light of the index admission, the company also plans to carry out a competitive audit tender process in 2026, with the results to be published in its 2026 annual report. Partners Group Private Equity, founded in 1999, is managed by Partners Group AG, a Swiss-listed private markets investor with $174 billion in assets under management, including $83 billion in private equity. Shares in Partners Group Private Equity were up 2.5% at 921.68 pence in London on Thursday morning. Copyright 2025 Alliance News Ltd. All Rights Reserved.
