Tialis Essential IT PLC on Friday said the delivery of a material new contract which it had announced back in January started on Monday. The Edinburgh-based provider of IT support services noted the contract has a total value of around £15 million and will run over five years. It involves the delivery of lifecycle services, tech bars, end user support and field engineering. The contract supports the UK government’s department responsible for overseeing environmental policy, agriculture and rural community development, in ‘building the workplace of tomorrow.’ Chief Operating Officer Niall O’Regan said: ‘Securing this significant contract with this UK government department is a strong endorsement of our capabilities and market position. It is also a clear demonstration of our ability to convert our pipeline into meaningful work. This win not only strengthens our financial outlook but also positions us well for further growth opportunities in our target sectors.’ Tialis shares fell 1.3% to 76.50 pence each on late Friday morning in London.
