EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Elementis hires new CFO; S&N CFO moves to US

ALN

The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Monday and Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Elementis PLC - London-based specialty chemicals maker - Hires Kath Kearney-Croft as chief financial officer, joining the company on November 3 and succeeding Ralph Hewins as CFO and board director on January 1. Hewins leaves the company after nine years in post. Kearney-Croft was CFO of Learning Technologies Group PLC before its takeover by funds managed by private equity firm General Atlantic earlier this year. Prior to joining Learning Technologies in 2021, she had worked at firms including SIG PLC.

----------

Smith & Nephew PLC - Hull, England-based medical technology - CFO John Rogers relocates to the US from the UK, effective from Monday. S&N explains that more than half of its revenue comes from the US, and the country is expected to be a major contributor to future growth. ‘Given the significant amount of time the CFO already spends in the US and in recognition of the importance of the US market to the group’s strategy and operations, John, with the support of the board, has decided to relocate there,’ the company says. S&N has American depository receipts traded in New York but has its primary listing in London.

----------

Future Metals NL - exploration company with projects in Western Australia - Hires Keith Bowes as managing director and chief executive officer. It says Bowes has over 30 years of experience in project development, metallurgy and operations across Africa, South America and Australia. He was previously managing director and technical director of Lotus Resources. ‘We are confident that his technical and executive expertise will be invaluable as we continue to advance our flagship Panton project and the emerging Eileen Bore project, particularly as he has a proven track record of adding significant value for shareholders in similar roles,’ says Non-Executive Chair Patrick Walta.

----------

XP Factory PLC - London-based leisure and entertainment - Chair Richard Rose stands for re-election at XP Factory’s annual general meeting on Monday but will step down once a successor as chair is found, the company announces.
