Patria Private Equity Trust PLC - Edinburgh, Scotland-based investment company managed by Patria Capital Partners LLP - Net asset value is 813.4 pence per share on August 31, up 2.3% from 795.4p on July 31. The rise is thanks to a 2.9% increase at constant currency in the valuation of its investments. This is supported by a 0.2% rise in the euro versus the pound during but hurt by a 2.1% fall in the dollar against the pound. Patria Private Equity says the full impact of the portfolio’s June revaluation will be reflected in the September 30 NAV. Total return over the past six months has been 6.0%, compared to 7.1% for the FTSE all-share index. The trust pays out £16.7 million in drawdowns during August, while receiving £10.0 million in distributions. Of these distributions, realised gains and income total £2.2 million. Patria Private Equity has £760.9 million in outstanding commitments as of August. During that month, it made a $7 million commitment alongside Seidler Equity Partners to a youth development business, but it says further details of this are not yet publicly disclosed.
