Ruffer Investment Co Ltd - London-based investment management company - Net asset value per share rises 2.0% to 303.83 pence at September 30 from 297.89 pence at August 31. Says the month had a ‘groundhog day feel’, describing September as ‘an amplified August.’ Says gold miners were standout performers ‘once again’, as they drove performance in a ‘bumper month for bullion’. Notes that the precious metal rose by around 12% in US dollar terms.
