Global Connectivity PLC - Isle of Man-based broadband provider to rural areas in the UK - Raises £200,000 through placing and subscription of 13.3 million shares at 1.5 pence per share. Fundraises comprises placing of 10.0 million shares raising around £150,000 from existing shareholders, and subscription by Chair Keith Harris of 3.3 million shares for approximately £50,000. Notes the placing price represents an estimated 30% premium to the mid-market closing price on Thursday. Adds that proceeds will be used for additional working capital purposes.
