Gunsynd initial assay results at Barb project highly encouraging

ALN

Gunsynd PLC on Tuesday said initial assay results from its Barb project in Manitoba Canada confirm the existence of ‘high-grade gold’.

The investor in companies and projects in the natural resource sector said this confirmation follows a

reconnaissance program by Critical Discoveries Ltd.

Last month, Gunsynd said it engaged the services of 10148942 Manitoba Limited O/A Critical Discoveries for an around 24-day field campaign in relation to its Barb gold project.

Shares in Gunsynd rose 26% to 0.17 pence on Tuesday afternoon in London.

The company said mineralisation was proven across the property, including 12 samples grading one gram of gold per tonne, with the highest reading of 13.12 grams of gold per tonne.

Owing to the ‘encouraging’ initial data, Gunsynd said it plans to advance the project toward a drill-ready stage via a combination of ‘detailed geological mapping, systematic channel sampling, and geophysics to better define the strongest drill targets and extent of the proven mineralised zones.’

The company noted that preparation for a work permit application is currently underway.

‘These initial assay results from the Barb project are highly encouraging, highlighting the presence and distribution of high-grade gold mineralisation across the property,’ said Executive Chair Hamish Harris,

‘Fieldwork conducted by the Critical Discoveries team has further strengthened confidence in the project’s strong exploration potential. We look forward to advancing the Barb project toward a maiden drill campaign.’
