LSEG partners with Nasdaq to boost private markets data access

ALN

London Stock Exchange Group PLC on Thursday said it has entered into a partnership with Nasdaq Inc to enhance access to private markets data for institutional investors.

Under the agreement, LSEG will license Nasdaq eVestment private markets datasets.

The deal also grants limited exclusive rights to distribute Nasdaq’s private fund and deal-level benchmarks.

The datasets will be integrated into LSEG’s Workspace and Datafeeds platforms, expanding coverage across the private investment landscape.

The partnership follows LSEG’s launch of the UK’s first Private Securities Market in September and is part of its broader push to strengthen private market infrastructure and data offerings.

‘This partnership underscores our commitment to delivering unparalleled private markets intelligence,’ said Gianluca Biagini, group co-head of Data & Analytics at LSEG. ‘By integrating Nasdaq’s datasets with LSEG’s existing capabilities, we are creating a best-in-class solution that serves the entire private market ecosystem.’

Oliver Albers, executive vice president and chief product officer at Nasdaq, added: ‘Through this integration, we are extending the reach of Nasdaq’s private market data to deliver greater transparency and more actionable intelligence across the global investment landscape.’

Shares in LSEG down 0.7% at 9,668.00 pence in London on Thursday morning. Nasdaq shares were down 1.5% at $84.31 during pre-market trading in New York.
