Shares in Gamma Communications PLC fell on Wednesday after the firm said its Chief Financial Officer Bill Castell will leave in March next year. According to the Berkshire, England-based provider of communication services, Castell is departing to take up an executive role at a private equity-backed business. Gamma shares were down 4.0% at 946.00 pence on Wednesday morning in London, having lost 41% in the past year. The company noted that it is in the process of appointing a successor, with Castell to remain at Gamma until the end of March 2026. Chief Executive Andrew Belshaw commented: ‘I’ve enjoyed working with Bill over the past four years. On behalf of the board and everyone at Gamma, I’d like to wish him all the best for the future.’ Castell added: ‘I wish the company every future success.’ The outgoing CFO previously held the same position in the Corporate Banking division of Barclays PLC.
