United Oil & Gas PLC - mining company with an exploration asset in Jamaica - Signs a contract with TDI Brooks International to supply the R/V Gyre survey vessel for a planned piston coring and surface geochemical programme on the Walton Morant licence, offshore Jamaica. This follows the signing of a memorandum of understanding announced on October 9. The vessel is expected to arrive mid to late December 2025 for the programme, comprising the collection of 40 to 60 seabed cores from the Walton and Morant Basins, together with bathymetric, multibeam, and heat-flow surveys. Operations are expected to last two to three weeks, with initial results expected early in the first quarter of 2026. United says the work represents a ‘critical technical de-risking step supporting ongoing farm-out discussions and shareholder value creation.’ Current share price: 0.13 pence, closed down 1.9% in London on Wednesday 12-month change: down 42% Copyright 2025 Alliance News Ltd.
