FW Thorpe PLC - Redditch-based lighting systems maker - Says results to date are in line with last year’s amid market challenges. In an announcement on Thursday ahead of the company’s annual general meeting, Chair Mike Allcock said ‘the group is finding it challenging to take a step forward in its revenues’. For the financial year ended June 30, 2025, FW Thorpe achieved a revenue of £175.2 million, having fallen 0.3% from the year before, and a pretax profit of £31.6 million. The company said that despite lighting market challenges ‘the business is in decent shape, and performance is good’. Allcock added: ‘Despite the challenges, the group continues to invest in the pursuit of growth, through continued product innovation as well as targeted sector and territorial customer-facing activities. The board expects group synergy projects, such as new product collaboration and shared procurement initiatives to develop and support profitable growth.’ Current stock price: 291.37 pence, up 1.2% on Friday morning in London. 12-month change: down 9.0% Copyright 2025 Alliance News Ltd.
