JD Wetherspoon PLC - Watford, England-based chain of just under 800 pubs in the UK and Ireland - Prepares to open first pub in continental Europe next year. The Castell de Santa Barbera will open in January and be located in the airside departure area of Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernandez Airport.
