AB Dynamics reports €9.7 million contract award as new CEO starts

ALN

AB Dynamics PLC on Monday said it has secured a contract to supply simulators to a ‘major’, unnamed European original equipment manufacturer.

Wiltshire, England-based AB Dynamics is a designer, manufacturer and supplier of advanced testing, simulation and measurement products.

The company said the contract, worth €9.7 million, has been awarded to its subsidiary, Ansible Motion Ltd, and sees it supply its advanced driver-in-the-loop simulation equipment.

AB Dynamics said revenue from the contract award is expected to be recognised principally in the second half of financial 2026, and in the first half of financial 2027.

This announcement comes as recently appointed Chief Executive Sarah Matthews-DeMers officially takes up her role on Monday this week, following the company’s announcement of her appointment in late October.

Matthews-DeMers was promoted from the position of chief financial officer, and has replaced former CEO James Routh who officially left the company on Sunday.

Shares in the company were flat at 1,315.00 pence on Monday morning in London.

‘This significant award maintains and strengthens AB Dynamics’ position in the simulation market and is testament to the trusted position the group holds,’ said CEO Matthews-DeMers.

‘Building on our already strong order book this contract increases visibility for FY 2026 and beyond. This also demonstrates how our future growth prospects remain supported by long-term structural and regulatory growth drivers in active safety, autonomous systems and the automation of vehicle applications, underpinning our medium-term financial objectives,’ Matthews-DeMers added.
