IN BRIEF: MP Evans operations at Simpang Kiri temporarily disrupted

ALN

MP Evans Group PLC - Tunbridge Wells, England-based producer of Indonesian crude palm oil - says operations at the Simpang Kiri estate in Aceh have been temporarily disrupted following significant flooding in Sumatra, Indonesia. With flood waters now subsided, normal operations will resume in the coming weeks, the company says. MP Evans says the flooding will not have a material impact on crop and production for the year.

‘The group is providing support where possible to those affected in the local community around its estate, and its thoughts are with those who have suffered greater losses during this difficult time. Our condolences go to the families of those who have died in the flooding,’ adds MP Evans.
