ALN

The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Tuesday.

----------

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

----------

Applied Nutrition PLC, up 8.6% at 217.00 pence, 12-month range 107.4p-218.25p. The sports nutrition, health and wellness brand says its strong momentum has continued so far in the year ending July 31, and is reflected in its current order book. Says it now expects full-year results to exceed current market consensus estimates by around 10%. ‘The company recognises the strength of trading and the upcoming peak trading period for Health, Fitness & Wellbeing, which will deliver a particularly strong H1,’ Applied Nutrition says. Cites consensus expectations for revenue of £122.3 million and adjusted Ebitda of £34.4 million.

----------

Pharos Energy PLC, up 5.5% at 20.125p, 12-month range 17.9p-27.5p. The energy company, which has assets in Vietnam and Egypt, says its year to date average production is 5,391 barrels of oil equivalent per day, in line with guidance. Says it expects full-year production to be in line with the average YTD average production. Working interest production totals 4,074 boepd net as of November 30 in Vietnam, and 1,317 boepd net in Egypt. Company remains debt-free and reports a cash balance of around $16.6 million at December 7, against $16.5 million at December 31 last year, and says it continues to regularly receive payments from EGPC in Egypt relating to their concession agreement with around $17.3 million received in the year to date. Chief Executive Officer Katherine Roe says: ‘The second half of the year has been busy, with two drilling rigs currently in operation as we execute our six-well infill and appraisal drilling programme in Vietnam, the most significant investment into these assets since their original development. Initial performance of the first well on the TGT Field has been very positive and is currently exceeding our pre-drill expectations...As the campaign progresses into 2026, the upcoming wells will contribute to next year’s guidance, which we will share in the new year.’
