Ireland’s annual harmonised consumer price index inflation rate decelerated in December, data published by the Central Statistics Office showed Tuesday. The country’s harmonised annual CPI inflation rate, which allows for EU-wide comparison, slowed to 2.7% in December from 3.1% in November. Monthly, harmonised consumer prices picked up 0.6% in December in Ireland, after a fall of 0.2% in November. The CSO will release full December CPI data next week Thursday.
