TRADING UPDATES: Eden in France boost; Directa Plus sees revenue hike

ALN

The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Eden Research PLC - Oxfordshire, England-based developer of biopesticides and formulation technologies for the crop protection, animal health and consumer products industries - French authorities approve the use of Mevalone on grapes to control downy and powdery mildew. ‘Biopesticides are a fastgrowing segment of the French crop protection market: the French biopesticides sector is estimated at more than $200 million in 2025 and is projected to grow strongly to 2030, with grapes representing a key market segment because of heavy pressure from downy mildew, powdery mildew and botrytis and the challenging regulatory restrictions placed on pesticides in general,’ Eden Research says.

----------

Directa Plus PLC - graphene product maker based in Lomazzo, Italy - Directa Plus expects to report 2025 revenue of €7.0 million, a rise of around 5.1% from €6.7 million in 2024. An adjusted loss before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation of €2.5 million is expected, largely in line with market forecasts, and narrowing from €3.6 million. ‘The group made advances in technology, production and product capabilities, strengthening its ability to manufacture advanced graphene-based materials at low cost, at scale and with highest levels of consistency,’ Directa Plus says. At its Setcar unit, Directa Plus notes it has continued to focus on restructuring initiatives. These have generated ‘significant headcount reductions, operational efficiencies and margin improvements’, to the tune of at least €700,000 in annualised savings. ‘Setcar is now better positioned to pursue opportunities within the strategically important environmental remediation market, underpinned by its technical expertise and extensive regulatory approvals,’ Directa Plus added. It notes Setcar won a €1.5 million total waste management contract with Ford for a further 15 months in December. Non-Executive Chair Richard Hickinbotham will step down at the end of January, rounding off a nine-year tenure. CEO Giulio Cesareo will take on the chair role on an interim basis. Directa Plus says the CEO succession process is being progressed.

----------

ECR Minerals PLC - Australia-focused gold exploration and development company - Secures a team to start initial mining operations at the Raglan alluvial gold project in Queensland, Australia. It expects initial gold production to start before the end of January, marking its transition into a revenue-generating gold producer. ‘Securing our operating team is the final major step to bring the Raglan Project into production, and I am thrilled that we can now set a clear expectation of initial gold production before the end of January 2026. This is a pivotal moment in ECR’s journey,’ says Chair Nick Tulloch.

----------

Panther Metals PLC - exploration company focused on mineral projects in Canada - Appoints Extrakt Process Solutions LLC to perform a phased metallurgical testwork operation for the recovery of metals at the Winston Tailings project in Ontario. ‘The testwork will be conducted in association with TDI Solutions LLC an independent laboratory authorised and equipped to implement the Extrakt innovative hydrometallurgical extraction technology,’ Panther Metals says.
